Tangerang-International English under the support of the Head of Daarul Qur'an Nusantara Foundation (Yayasan Daarul Qur'an Nusantara), Bapak Anwar Sani, held an exclusive 40 hour TEFL Foundation Certificate Training program.Interational English and the Foundation are trying to find further possibilities and opportunities to establish a more formal cooperation by establishing International English Authorized Training Center (IETC) at STMIK Antar Bangsa.
West Jakarta - International English held an intensive 40 hour-Onsite TEFL Certificate Workshop for 12 English Teachers attended by English Teachers from Sekolah Citra Kasih (Ir.Ciputra's school), TK Ananda, Sun Smile Kids International School, a graduate student of STBA LIA, and Sekolah Tunas Indonesia during the holiday season in first week of July 2009. International English - Indonesia held TEFL/TESOL Introduction Workshop for English Teachers in Kota Pariaman, West Sumatra
The program gained full support from Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Bahasa Inggris Kota Pariaman.The Chairman of MGMP, Bapak Armanto M.Pd said to the teachers," I really got a lot of teaching ideas to make my English class become more fun, enjoyable and effective after joining International English TEFL Foundation Certificate Training. I've changed the way I teach to become more fun, more effective, and more students-centered".
This program was also facilitated by Bapak Irwan Kinun, M.Kom, the Chairman of AIM-AMIK-STMIK Jayanusa Padang. Pak Irwan took the chance to share his experience when he studied English in Sydney, Australia, many years ago.

Kota Padang, West Sumatra - International English held the 2nd TEFL/TESOL Monthly Workshop titled "Fun, Effective, and Creative Ways in Teaching Speaking in an EFL/ESOL Class" on Sunday, March 22,2009.This workshop was attended by more than 30 English Teachers from different cities and regencies in West Sumatera such as Padang, Pariaman, Bukit Tinggi, Solok, Payakumbuh, Dharmasraya, etc.This program was held in association with English Teachers Forum of West Sumatra (ETFOWS).This program is a part of the International Standard 120 hour-TEFL/TESOL Certificate Training which will be held within 1 (one) year.
The workshop was facilitated by Adi Etainer who focused on giving brand new perspectives to the teachers on how to make students speak from both the psychological and technical sides.One of the participants Ibu Desniza Osra, M.Pd said," After joining this workshop, I just realized that if we want to motivate our students to speak English, we need to be the role model first in Speaking English at school and have to leave our conventional ways that never really motivate the students to speak". Continuing the program in April, the topic will be "Fun, Effective and Creative Ways in Teaching Listening in an EFL/ESOL Class". The TEFL Foundation Certificate Training in Kota Padang and Kota Payakumbuh were held paralel on weekend of June 7-8,2008.The TEFL FC programs were held for two exclusive small groups of teachers of English from SMP (Junior High) and SMA (Senior High).The TEFL FC Padang group was attended by 9 teachers and and TEFL FC Payakumbuh was attended 7 teachers. International English TEFL Foundation Certificate (TEFL-FC) 2-day Training was held for the English Teachers of SMA and MA Teachers in Pontianak on April 12-13.12 English Teachers attended the TEFL FC from top notch Senior High Schools (SMA/MA) in Pontianak such as SMAN 3, SMAN 8, MAN 2,etc on weekend, April 12-13,2008.The Head of MGMP SMA, Bapak Noer Hasanudin, welcame the program and requested some follow-up programs for upgrading and developing the quality of the English Teachers in Pontianak.All of the participants stated that they satisfied and got new and refreshed ideas after following the TEFL FC program.
On Saturday, April 12, there was also a paralel program for the TEFL Monthly Workshop (TEFL-MW) for the Kindergarten and Elementary School English Teachers. 28 English Teachers attended the TEFL MW with the topic "Fun, Effective and Creative Ways in Teaching English as a Foreign Language to Early and Young Learners".The teachers who joined the TEFL MW were from high rank kindergartens (TK) and elementary schools (SD) in Pontianak such as TK&SD Imanuel and other highly respected schools in Pontianak.

International English has signed the MOU with STAI Al-Masthuriyah, Sukabumi to hold an international TOEFL Preparation Training Program which will be ended with the Official TOEFL-ITP for the Staff, Faculty Members and the Students.
International English got a request from STAI Al-Masthuriyah to handle a DEPAG (Department of Religion Affair) Project conducting the International TOEFL Preparation Training for selected 40 faculty members, staff and students who will be sent for a scholarship abroad from Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Al-Masthuriyah, Sukabumi.
We also presented the International TOEIC and they were interested in joining it after finishing the TOEFL Preparation Training Program. The TOEFL Preparation training will be started on Sunday, Jan 28.
As the Official TOEIC Test Center appointed by International Test Center (ITC) which is the Sole and Exclusive Representative of ETS in Indonesia, International English only provides the Official International Tests such TOEFL and TOEIC that are issued by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), Princeton, New Jersey, USA.

After having several discussions with the Principal and English Teachers of SMPN 1 Cisaat (SMP NECIS), eventually SMP NECIS decided to join the International School Program (ISP) - E-School Community to build the foundation of an English Speaking School Environment at the school.
The program will be started by conducting the Quick-2-Speak Training for the Teachers for the first six months and will be followed by the students in the new academic year. International English Professional Workshop: Boost Your Career with Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC)- Sukabumi, Dec 22

The Workshop was divided into two segmentations: Academic and Professional. The first session of the workshop was opened by a Keynote Speech from Dr. Herman, the Director of RSUD R. Syamsudin who came on behalf of Walikota Sukabumi. The second session was attended by Asuransi Jiwasraya, Balai Besar Pengembangan Budi Daya Air Tawar, PT Satwa Utama, Galaksi Radio, NBS Radio, Indosat and other companies.
Not only the participants got valuable and comprehensive information on the Test of English for International Communication from Ms. Jenny Lee, the Marketing Director of ITC, but also they had a chance for joining a TOEIC test simulation and got brief explanations on the problems solving from Mr. Victor Chan, the Chief Executive Officer of ITC. Ms. Jenny also had a chance to do off-air live interview on 92,3 NBS FM introducing the TOEIC Test and TOEIC Bridge to the listeners of NBS FM who are mostly young adults.
All participants were satisfied with the workshop.They went home with bags full of valuable information on the TOEIC test, souvenirs and door prizes from INDOSAT, two lucky draw of US$40 vouchers from ITC for joining International TOEIC Test, and two lucky draws from International English for joining IE Training Programs that value Rp.9.600.000,-.

International English Team’s English Proficiency was standardized with the International TOEIC test on Saturday, December 23. There were 3 Training Consultants, 8 Englishtainers, 2 IE School Representatives, and 2 Winners of US40$ Vouchers from ITC -Bapak Saprudin (English Teacher from MAN 2) and Bapak Jaka (A Management Staff from BBPBAT) who did the International TOEIC test held at International English Training Center in Pondok Asri-Selabintana, Sukabumi.
They were so curious to know their test result which would be delivered within 5 working days from ITC Jakarta. Most of them felt so excited and nervous since it was their first time to join the International TOEIC test.
This standardization is one of International English commitment to internationalize its team so that they know their English Proficiency Level in the global workplace. By taking this test, they will also become very confident when they have to make presentation on the TOEIC to our clients since IE Team members have experienced taking the test.
